“I worked with David from So Cal Builders and Design on a bathroom and bedroom addition to my home. We had been through a few renovation projects before so expectations were low, but I can honestly say this is the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. If you need work done hire David and his team!
David helped navigate the whole process for us from drawing up the plans, through the entire build, and final inspection. As with any renovation project some issues arose along the way, but David’s attitude was always “it’s okay, we will take care of it”! He was super transparent with everything going on, and was very responsive when I had questions. He also helped me with some design ideas that I absolutely LOVE! The end result is honestly better than I could have fully envisioned, and I truly believe it wouldn’t have been possible without David and his team. “David and his team helped take on the scope to remove 2 load bearing walls in our home. In addition, his team helped enlarge the rear sliding door area. David provided us with an organized schedule of tasks that his team would do. Even as we ran through a few obstacles, he was able to help us out along the way. It’s not too often where you come across an honest contractor who sticks by word and work ethic. I had taken 7 or 8 other bids before we signed with David’s team. I do not have any regrets. “I want to give shout out to the project manager, Gal. He came with a clear design idea to us at our second meeting. We are amazed by his clarity to initiate a project. He went ahead of the curve to show what can be done with a clear scope of work and preliminary design. He is very meticulous and knows a great deal about the process goes into the whole house remodeling.
Gal gave us multiple options and two proposals that fit our budget and vision throughout our discussion; needless to say, their bid was very competitive. Although we decided to go with a different route because of timing, it’s a pity we did not have the chance to work with Gal and his team. I would highly recommend Gal to anyone if you have the opportunity to work with him.”

“Our kitchen turned out absolutely beautifully, and I can’t recommend SoCal Builders and our contractor David enough. From beginning to end, David and his crew were professional and communicative and did excellent work. I had been saving for and dreaming about this kitchen remodel for years, so I had very high expectations and the finished product actually exceeded my expectations. The materials are high quality (gorgeous cabinets!) and provided just the look we wanted. Even though it’s always challenging to have people in your house, the crew did their best to be nonintrusive and cleaned up well after work each day. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly by David, and he’s just a really nice guy. We trusted him right away, and he proved himself worthy of that trust.
I’m already starting to plan the remodel of my weird 70s bathroom, and I’ll definitely be calling David to do the work!”

“After several long years of designing and permitting our home remodel during the pandemic, we were searching for a good contractor to build out our remodel and second story addition. Avi and David were wonderful; very thorough in explaining the process, answering all of our questions, and settling on a price that was reasonable and within our budget. During the building process, David was very responsive, available, and receptive to changes and last minute decisions made along the way. The project took longer than anticipated and there were some unexpected setbacks, but David and Avi worked quickly to fix issues and keep the project moving forward. At the end of the project they were very responsible about making sure we were satisfied with every last detail before completing the project. David was our project manager and he was AWESOME! He was transparent and honest from the beginning to the completion of the project. Our budget and time line was respected. “We did a whole house remodel with So Cal Builders. We got quotes from 5 other companies and they were the most competitive in price and timeline. We are very happy with the finished product. Anyone will say a remodel will never be on time or on budget, but overall Ilan was able to get us close to our original timeline and budget. We luckily didn’t live in the house during the remodel especially during covid, so it made it a lot easier to have the whole house renovated at one time. Ilan was very responsive and addressed any of our needs/concerns.
Remodeled kitchen, we painted cabinets and added an island.
